Position Summary:

The Administrative Assistant manages the day-to-day office operations and assists with policies and procedures for the College of Health and Wellness, College of Chiropractic and the College of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. This position is responsible for providing administrative support for faculty across the three colleges. This position is responsible for the administration of data and student information in compliance with FERPA and all other rules and regulations pertaining to it.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible opportunity, working Monday - Friday.

Work Location: Bloomington, MN on-site.


  • Maintain efficient daily administrative operation for the Colleges
  • Provide administration of academic operations
  • Support the analysis of program data
  • Coordination of accrediting body visits
  • Calendar coordination/reserving rooms
  • Assist with travel arrangements
  • Preparation of meeting minutes and agendas
  • Maintenance of program supplies and purchases
  • Process key requests
  • Collaborate with other Administrative Assistants throughout the University
  • Provide support for planning and implementation of events as needed
  • Provide administrative support for faculty as needed (proctor make-up exams, photocopy course materials, complete requisitions for course equipment and supplies)

What you need to have?

  • Associate degree or two-year program required
  • 1-3 years of previous experience required; ideally in an academic setting
