Position Information:

The Conference Coordinator is responsible for the logistics for in-person seminars and webinars. This role will communicate with partners, instructors, attendees, and internal staff to support them. This position reports to the Continuing Education Manager.

This is a full-time opportunity, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Work Location:

Bloomington, MN with flexibility to work 1-2 days per week remotely; must live local and be able to come to campus as needed.


  • Coordinates webinar and seminar logistics and hosting.
  • Registers seminar participants and processes customers payments.
  • Coordinates seminar and office support with student workers.
  • Assists instructors with travel and hotel arrangements if needed.
  • Collects, reproduces or shares course materials (notes, exams, other handouts).
  • Distributes course evaluations and shared results with appropriate constituents.
  • Updates continuing education seminar calendar
  • Creates seminar offerings in Enrole
  • Responds to inquiries coming into the CE email box
  • Creates seminar reconciliations when requested
  • Assists Continuing Education Assistant with invoicing partners
  • Answers phones when needed.


  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required
  • Associate degree or two-year program is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in event coordination

Other Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Software, specifically Excel
  • Intermediate Data Entry skills
  • Experience with web-based meeting software
  • Attention to detail, deadlines, and procedures
  • Excellent customer relation skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
