Position Information:

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator is an entry-level position that serves as the first point of contact for the HR department and enhances our strong culture. This position is an integral member of the HR team and is responsible for managing the student employment process, assisting with recruitment and may manage select non-exempt positions, manages our onboarding process, and creates a welcoming new hire experience, manages the performance management module for a portion of employees, ensures accurate and timely completion of new hire paperwork, utilizes ADP Workforce Now, manages employee files, and provides administrative support to the human resources department.

This is an excellent opportunity if you are passionate about human resources and are an excellent communicator, organized, detail-oriented, and process disciplined that possesses a positive attitude and is seeking to join a service-oriented HR team. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Candidates should have the desire to learn about all aspects of HR.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible opportunity working Monday - Friday.

Work Location:

Bloomington, MN with flexibility to work 1-2 days per week remotely; must live local and be able to come to campus as needed.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field with an HR internship or equivalent work experience in human resources
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
  • Customer service experience
  • Previous work in a human resources department
