Hours: Approximately 3-4 per week with preference to those who can work Tuesday evening.

Duties:

  • Work in HPC integrative team clinic to provide massage therapy to HPC contracted organization members
  • Massages are 30 minutes in duration to occur every 45-60 minutes depending on massage therapist's capabilities
  • Responsible for working as an member in the integrated sports care team to treat patients and work within scope of practice
  • Individual will work by themselves or with another work study massage therapist to provide massage therapy
  • Responsible for all sanitation and safety protocols related to massage therapy
  • Individual is responsible for upholding all NWHSU HIPAA and clinic guidelines
  • Responsible for completing electronic health records in accordance with NWHSU standards

Qualifications:

Requirements of the Massage Therapy Certificate in Relaxation Program

  • 23.5 trimester credits equivalent to the following courses:
