Hours: Approximately 4 - 10 hours/week


This application is for both in-class teaching assistant and open lab teaching assistant applicants.

  • Mentor/tutor students in gross anatomy (for the chiropractic program) in small groups and individual students
  • Operate open lab times while faculty may or may not be present in the anatomy lab
  • Assist faculty in the set up and proctoring of lab practicals
  • Organize lab supplies and equipment, maintain clean lab environment
  • Assist in transfer of donors to/from Anatomy Bequest Program


  • Have successfully completed GA 1 and 2 in the Doctor of Chiropractic Program
  • Earned a letter grade of B or higher in both courses
  • Be in good academic standing
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability
  • Have a desire to enrich the learning environment for students in GA 1 and 2
  • Assist during some continuing education course offerings on evenings or weekends (optional)
  • Be available to work at least 4 hours a week in the lab either during in-class labs and/or open lab times
