Position Information:

The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) provides human resources consultation to employees and the management team to facilitate the delivery of strategic and operational human resources services that support and advance the University's mission. The HRG provides guidance to all levels of management and employees in the areas of recruitment and selection, onboarding, compensation, legal compliance, and interpretation of Human Resources policies and guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized detail-oriented, and process disciplined individual looking for an opportunity to join a service-oriented HR team. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible opportunity working Monday Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm. Flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
  • 3-5 years' experience
  • Previous recruitment experience required (sourcing through onboarding)
  • Previous HR Generalist experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
  • Ability to be attentive to details
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Office 365
  • Prior experience with ADP workforce preferred
