Position Information: 

The Clinical Coordinator faculty member will be responsible for teaching didactic courses, clinical courses; coordination and supervision of clinical supervisors assigned, and, final evaluation and progression decisions for students in collaboration with clinical supervisors and program chair

This is a full-time faculty position within the College of Health and Wellness, Radiologic Technology Program. The academic rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and manages clinical component of clinical courses.
  • Develops clinical/laboratory requirements, including objectives, assignments, evaluation tools, and schedules.
  • Collaborates with the program faculty to assign students to clinical rotation(s).
  • Works with clinical supervisors/staff to plan, schedule staff/student learning experiences.
  • Actively seeks out new clinical partnerships.
  • Supports clinical supervisors through communication by phone, email or site visits.
  • Assists students and clinical supervisors with problem solving in the clinical area.
  • Performs or delegates an on-site clinical assessment of students identified at risk by clinical supervisors.
  • Compile clinical site/supervisor evaluation scores at the end of the semester/academic year.
  • Develops and manages didactic course each semester in collaboration with the program director.
  • Prepare and submit reports of faculty activities.
  • Schedule student advisory meetings each semester as necessary.
  • Monitor student clinical hours and radiation safety badge reports.
  • Scheduling and planning CE events and clinical supervisor meetings.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Minimum of 2-year clinical experience
    • Experience in a radiologic technology education setting/clinical supervisory is preferred
  • Good standing registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
