Approximately 8 hours per week.


  • Working with various instructors within the College of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine as model for video taping
    • Depending on the course the instructor is teaching they may demonstrate the following:
      • Acupuncture point location: typically just putting a mark with washable marker or stickers on your body at an acupuncture point location.
      • Acupuncture: inserting Acupuncture needles into various acupuncture points on your body.
      • Tuina: an Asian Massage, similar to getting body work done by a Massage Therapist.
      • The instructor may also do other various Accessory Techniques depending on what they are teaching (Cupping, Moxibustion, Gua sha, etc)


  • Must be a current NWHSU student enrolled in any program with work study funds available
  • Must follow all current and future NWHSU COVID-19 safety guidelines, including a self check before entering campus and wearing a mask¬†
  • Must be comfortable being taped and willing to have various acupuncture techniques performed on you
  • Must be comfortable having portions of your body shown and videotaped
